As 2018 comes to a close, I hope you feel that the year went well for you. My father used to say Yappy Yew Near! He had a funny take on many things, and a playful twist to life's many challenges.
This is my first newsletter post. I plan to keep my newsletters short as a somewhat fast read.
I think that most people will have a sigh of relief that 2018 is passing into the history records. I know I'm happy to say goodbye to 2018. I believe it was a most challenging year as domestic and geopolitical upheaval tested our patience.
We can now move forward into 2019 with a renewed sense of hope and the possibility of real change!
I look forward to the new year, and hope you do too.
As an artist and creativity coach, I have much to share. Recognizing our strong desire to be creative is a first small step, and if we feel blocked, there is hope too. Giving ourselves permission to make mistakes, be imperfect, and have fun while doing creative projects will soften the sharp edges and the constant angst we absorb from our fast paced culture.
We need to cultivate a sense of play so that we can endure life's many challenges.
Well wishes and much happiness to you in 2019, Laura
